Evangelions are humanoid fighting mechs. They are piloted by 14 year old teenagers that must go through months of special training and tests. The pilot enters a capsule, or cockpit, that will be inserted in the EVA at the back of the neck. Once the capsule is in the EVA the entry plug is filled with LCL (an oxygenated liquid), the LCL supplies the pilots lungs directly with vitimans and oxygen. The pilots must them "synchronize" with the EVA. Meaning anytime the move the Eva moves and anything that happens to the Eva feels like it is happening to them, the higher the sync rate, the more accurate and faster the EVA will be. EVAs cam also generate a Absolute Terror Field, which acts as a shield. They EVAs are armend with a Progressive Knife, a Progressive Ax and a really big machine gun. I mean this gun is huge. They also have this positron gun. Now on a different matter, EVAs are not really mechs. In my opinion, they are sort of like cyborgs ( Half Biological, Half Mechanical Creatures ). They are in fact Angels, or sort of like them, they are sort of at a state of rest, that's why they need pilots to move and control them, but once out of this state they are deadly, they can generate any part of thier body at will and have more power and agility then ever before. The only real EVA that ever came out of this state was Eva Unit-01. It comes out of this state when ever Shinji is about to die, a real thinker, I wonder why?.............Or maybe I don't........................
